Trackly SMS uses Stripe for secure payment processing. This integration is built-in and requires no configuration.

How It Works

  1. You add a payment method in Trackly
  2. Card details are securely stored in Stripe
  3. Usage is tracked and billed automatically
  4. Invoices are generated and payments processed

Adding a Payment Method

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Add Payment Method
  3. Enter card details in the Stripe form
  4. Click Save
Card details go directly to Stripe — Trackly never sees your full card number.

Supported Payment Methods

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • Other Stripe-supported cards

Updating Payment Method

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Update Payment Method
  3. Enter new card details
  4. New card replaces the old one

Failed Payments

When a payment fails:
  1. Stripe retries automatically
  2. You receive an email notification
  3. Discord alert (if configured)
  4. Update your card to resolve

Retry Schedule

Stripe automatically retries failed payments:
  • First retry: 3 days after failure
  • Second retry: 5 days after first retry
  • Third retry: 7 days after second retry

Resolving Failures

  1. Check card validity and funds
  2. Update payment method if needed
  3. Contact support if issues persist

Invoices

Viewing Invoices

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. See invoice history
  3. Click to view/download

Invoice Contents

  • Billing period
  • Usage breakdown (segments)
  • Rate per segment
  • Taxes (if applicable)
  • Total amount

Security

PCI Compliance

Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Your card data is:
  • Encrypted in transit (TLS)
  • Stored securely by Stripe
  • Never stored on Trackly servers

Fraud Protection

Stripe provides:
  • Machine learning fraud detection
  • 3D Secure support
  • Risk scoring

Stripe Customer Portal

Access your Stripe customer portal to:
  • View billing history
  • Download invoices
  • Update payment method
Contact support for portal access link.

Troubleshooting

Common reasons:
  • Insufficient funds
  • Card expired
  • Fraud protection triggered
Try a different card or contact your bank.
Check your spam folder. Invoices come from Stripe. Add [email protected] to your contacts.
Download invoices from Settings > Billing. Each invoice serves as a receipt.
