Your user settings control your personal profile, password, and notification preferences.

Accessing Settings

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right
  2. Select Settings

Profile Information

Display Name

Your name shown in the dashboard and team member lists.

Email Address

Your login email. Changing this requires email verification. Your email is used for password resets and important notifications. Keep it current.

Password

Changing Your Password

  1. Go to Settings > Security
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter and confirm your new password
  4. Click Update Password

Password Requirements

  • Minimum 8 characters

Forgot Password

If you’re locked out:
  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click Forgot Password
  3. Enter your email
  4. Check your inbox for a reset link
  5. Click the link and set a new password
Reset links expire after 1 hour. Request a new one if expired.

Notification Preferences

Configure how you receive notifications: Notification preferences are managed through Discord alerts (if linked) and account-level settings.

Discord Notifications

If you’ve linked Discord, manage alert preferences there:
/alerts configure delivery_failures:true billing:true

Multi-Account Access

You may have access to multiple Trackly accounts:
  1. Click your profile icon
  2. See Switch Account if you have access to multiple
  3. Click to switch

Account Roles

Your role may differ per account:
  • Owner on your company account
  • Member on a client account
  • Viewer on a partner account

Session Management

Active Sessions

View your active login sessions:
  1. Go to Settings > Security
  2. See list of active sessions
  3. Click Revoke to end a session

Sign Out Everywhere

To sign out of all devices:
  1. Go to Settings > Security
  2. Click Sign Out All Sessions
Use this if you suspect unauthorized access.

Two-Factor Authentication

Trackly SMS supports two 2FA methods for securing your account:

TOTP (Authenticator App)

  1. Go to Settings > Security
  2. Click Enable TOTP
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
  4. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm
  5. Save your backup codes in a secure location

SMS 2FA

  1. Go to Settings > Security
  2. Click Enable SMS 2FA
  3. Enter and verify your phone number
  4. A code will be sent via SMS on each login

Account-Level Enforcement

Account owners can require all team members to enable 2FA via the require_2fa account setting. Members without 2FA will be prompted to set it up on their next login.

Backup Codes

When you enable TOTP, you receive one-time backup codes. Store these securely — they’re your recovery method if you lose access to your authenticator app.

Deleting Your Account

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
To delete your personal account:
  1. Create a support ticket from your dashboard (Support > New Ticket) requesting account deletion
  2. Verify your identity
  3. Your data will be removed per our retention policy
If you’re the sole Owner of an account, you must transfer ownership or delete the account first.
