GoDaddy Integration Guide

GoDaddy’s website builder is restrictive — it doesn’t support external form submissions or custom code injection on most plans. Use an iframe embed or universal methods instead.

Method 1: Iframe Embed (GoDaddy Website Builder)

  1. In the GoDaddy Website Builder, add an HTML section to your page
  2. Paste:
  3. Replace YOUR_PUBLIC_TOKEN with your opt-in configuration’s public token
  4. Adjust the iframe dimensions to fit your page layout
Note: HTML embed support varies by GoDaddy plan and builder version. If the HTML section is not available, use Method 2 or 3.
The simplest approach for GoDaddy sites:
  1. Add a Button element to your page
  2. Set the link URL to: https://api.tracklysms.com/s/<your-slug>
  3. Label it something like “Subscribe to SMS Updates”
  4. Mobile visitors will be taken directly to their SMS app; desktop visitors see a web form

Method 3: Universal Methods (No website changes needed)

These bypass your GoDaddy site entirely:
  • Keyword opt-in: Promote “Text JOIN to (555) 555-5555” on your site, social media, business cards, or storefront
  • QR code: Download from the QR Code card in your Trackly opt-in config editor. Print on flyers, receipts, or packaging
  • Direct page link: Share https://api.tracklysms.com/optin/page/<your-token> on social media or in emails

GoDaddy with WordPress

If your GoDaddy site runs WordPress (via GoDaddy Managed WordPress), see the WordPress Integration Guide instead — you’ll have full access to plugins and custom code.
